Hypnotherapy
Accepted by the American Medical Association since 1958, hypnosis is a
focused state of relaxation during which the subconscious mind is more open to
suggestion.
All hypnosis is self-hypnosis in that it is a matter of allowing oneself
to relax and focus and be open to the idea of positive change.
Hypnosis is not a sleep state, and often times is a state of heightened
awareness.
A client has full control during a session.
